Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao is a welfare scheme design by the Government of India so that to create awareness of education and uplift the existing services which were made for women. Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme was introduced with the budget of Rupees hundred crore and according to the statistical research in 2001, the child sex ratio in India was very critical that is 927 girls / 1,000 boys, which terrifically dropped in recent years. The Government scheme Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao (BBBP) was declared in 2014 in order to solve the CSR (child sex ratio) problem. Now this scheme is turning into a national campaign and worked in hundred selected districts of India that have low child sex ratio rate and focus on all States and United Territories. Many Government bodies of the Ministry of Women and Child Development, the Ministry of Human Resource Development and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare collectively work to deal with such a crucial problem.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Condemned female foeticide in the International Day of the Girl Child , he invites Indian citizen to take a step ahead in order to stop girl child killing and join their hand with Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao scheme. On 22 January 2015, honourable prime minister Modi Ji launched Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojana in Panipat. Recently Sakshi Malik, a bronze medalist in Olympics 2016 announced a brand ambassador of the ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’ scheme in Haryana.

Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Yojna Scheme specially designed to eradicate this mentality from Indian society. Effects Of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme
As we all know that in Indian Child Sex Ratio is declining every year as per the report of Census 2011. The 100 districts have been selected on the basis of low Child Sex Ratio. The three measure of selection of districts namely are:-
1. Indian districts which are having below the national average that is 87 districts/23 states
2. Indian districts which are above national average but shown decreasing trend that is 8 districts/8 states
3. Indian districts which are above the national average and shown increasing trend that is 5 districts/5 states
The effect of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao Scheme campaign has clearly seen in some parts of the India. In 2009, it was published that in Gujarat, rates of girl childbirths increased from 802 to 882 for every 1000 male births. This is reason and expectation behind the launching of Beti Bachao , Beti Padhao programme. This campaign is throughout supported by numerous medical organisations in India, as well as the Indian Medical Association.

Same as a district of Panjab Mansa has also initiated a programme called Udaan – Sapneya Di Duniya De Rubaru. This programme is basically designed for the girl between the age group of 12 to 18. Under this scheme, girls have got an opportunity to spend one day with a professional they aspire to be — doctor, engineer, Police, Layer , IAS and PPS officers and other. This program collected huge response, and more than seventy-five students have already lived their dream professionally.
